Joseph Franklin McKnight, 72, died this morning at 4:30 at the home of a son in Winslow. A retired carpenter, he had lived in Winslow the past two years. He was a member of the Christian Church, and was born in Bulls Gap, Tenn.
Surviving are four sons, J.S. of Winslow, L.H. of Orlando, Fla., J.F., Jr., of the Army Air Forces and H.J. of Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. L.L. Williamson of Kansas City, Mrs. Charles Elmore of Fresno, Calif., and Mrs. Amy Lindskog of Sioux City, Iowa; a brother, J. McKnight of Sioux City, and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Brentwood Church under direction of the Nelson-Savage Funeral Home.
