Racheline Harter, 91, of Hot Springs Village, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016. She was born in Algeria, France on May 18, 1924 to the late Caroline Sheila Zagdoun.
She was a war bride who married her late husband, George Harter Jr. in Cairo, Egypt. She dedicated her whole life to her family, whom she treasured greatly.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Caroline Sheila Ray.
She is survived by her children Bobby Harter (June), Charlotte Hitchens, Connie Wehrman (Larry); grandchildren Laura Tucker (Chris), Lesley Harvey (Daina), Kimberly MacBrayer (Adam), and Anthony Harter (Lori); great-grandchildren Corbin, Blayze, Gracie, Josh, Jacob, Matthew, and Finch; sister-in-law Sandy Harter; and many friends she treasured she met while living in the Village.
A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 22, officiated by Chaplin Jim Freeman.
Memorials can be made to Tranquil Cemetery Maintenance Fund in care of Roger Rowe, 1164 Amity Road, Hot Springs, AR. 71913.
