Betty Jo Little
April 18, 1932 - December 10, 2021
Betty Jo Little of Walnut Ridge, passed away Friday December 10, 2021 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center, at the age of 89.
She was born April 18, 1932 in Paragould, AR to the late Joseph & Lillian Simpson. She was the widow of Dr. James (Jim) Little, longtime optometrist in Walnut Ridge. Betty helped Doc around the office, but what she really enjoyed was being a homemaker and spending time with her family. Betty was a loving mother, sister, neighbor, and friend. She was the type of grandma that truly spent quality time with her granddaughter when she came to visit; riding bikes, working puzzles, and playing cards. There was never a dull moment at Maw Maw's house. She cherished her great grandchildren and they adored her in return.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James N. Little; sisters, Lucille Craig and Nellie McClain; and daughter, Debbi Lamb of Jonesboro.
She is survived by granddaughter, Michelle Brown; grandson-in-law, Tyler Brown; and great grandchildren, Chelsea and Graham, all of Jonesboro.
A private family burial will be held Wednesday December 15, 2021 at Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, AR.
The family requests that is lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
