Clesia G. Benge, 96, of Paris passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, in Paris. She was born March 5, 1916, in Driggs to her parents, Richard Ernest and Clemmie Phillips Marshall.
She was a homemaker and worked in food service at the Tuberculosis Sanatorium in Booneville for many years until it closed. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris.
Clesia was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Clemmie Marshall; her husband, Homer Benge; a sister; and four brothers.
Clesia is survived by her niece, Hilda Bethune of Fort Smith; and her sister-in-law, Ruth Marshall of Paris.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery pavilion in Paris officiated by the Rev. Sandra Wiggins. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be Bret Sullivan, Gary Simmons, Jim Richardson, Mike Richardson, Chris Richardson and Richard Zimmer.
