Dorothy Theresa Schneider, 95, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 in Charleston, Arkansas. She was born on September 4, 1925 in Scranton, Arkansas to her parents, Henry and Anna (Dillier) Schmitz.

Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Mother's Society in Paris and the Tuesday Morning Quilters Guild. She was a talented seamstress and loved to quilt.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Frank Schneider; her grandson, Gregory Schneider; four sisters, Louise Geels, Freda Schmaltz, Betty Becker and Regina Schmitz Becker and four brothers, Ben, Tony, Ed and Joe Schmitz.

She is survived by her four sons, Leon Schneider and wife, Jeanne of Independence, Missouri, Donald Schneider and wife, Sharon of Paris, Allen Schneider and wife, Cheryl of Magazine and Chris Schneider and wife, Tammy of Paris; eight daughters, Sharon Moore and husband Mike of Paris, Pat Shepard and husband, Scott of Fayetteville, Joan Harrison and husband, Raymond of Paris, Rita Rhineheart and husband, David of Paris, Virginia "Jenny" Zeiler and husband, Willie of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Marcia Schluterman and husband, Teddy Schluterman of Paris, Mary Freeman and husband, Jerry of Paris and Linda Freeman and husband, Joey of Subiaco; 28 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church officiated by Fr. Reginald Udouj, O.S.B.. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
