Henry Anhalt. 89, of Paris, Arkansas died Sunday, October 28, 2007 in his home. He was born December 11, 1917 in Shoal Creek, Arkansas. He was the son of Karl Anhalt and Anna (Hatwig) Anhalt.

Henry was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Choir, a 3rd degree Knights of Columbus charter member, Council #3787 for 51 years. Henry was a 1939 valedictorian graduate of Subiaco Academy, Subiaco, Arkansas. He retired from the Paris Fire Department serving as assistant chief during his tenure and was a retired tavern owner. He was Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America Troop 39 and was a bookkeeper for Dixie Coal Mine, Shirley Ford, Raney Drug Store and City of Paris. Henry was a master crappie fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, three sisters, Mary Lensing, Apalona Neumeier, Johanna Engel and three brothers, Frank, William and Karl Anhalt, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Hermina (Friga) Anhalt of Paris, daughter Janie Calvert of Little Rock, daughter Sissi Bennett and husband, Butch of Hot Springs Village, son Bill Anhalt and wife Jeanette (Schmalz) Anhalt of Russellville, Arkansas, son Randy Anhalt and wife Stacie (Reeves) Anhalt of Paris and daughter Shelia Williams and husband Mike of Parker, Colorado, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Pallbears will be grandsons: Charley Calvert, Mason Anhalt, Drew Anhalt, Dustin Anhalt, Domnic Bistolfi, Ryan Willams, Jeff Williams and Seth Anhalt.

Funeral Mass was conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Paris. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery-Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home-Paris.

Hermina Anhalt, 94, of Paris passed away Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, in Russellville.
She was born on Dec. 2, 1920, in Shoal Creek to her parents, John and Johanna (Tenclave) Friga.

She was a homemaker and a member of St.Joseph Catholic Church and Mother’s Society in Paris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Johanna (Tenclave) Friga; her husband, Henry Anhalt; a sister, Rose Mary Johnson; and three brothers, Leon Friga, Gary Friga and Bernard Friga.

She is survived by her three daughters, Janie Calvert of Russellville, Sissi Bennett and husband Butch of Hot Springs Village and Sheila Williams and husband Mike of Parker, Colo.; two sons, Bill Anhalt and wife Jeanette of Russellville and Randy Lee Anhalt of Paris; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two greatgreat- grandchildren.

Rosary service with visitation to follow will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St.

Joseph Catholic Church in Paris officiated by Fr. Eugene Luke O.S.B. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
