Henry J. Koch, 94, a resident of Paris, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020, at his home.

He was born February 16, 1926, in Paris to the late Mathias and Mary (Beshoner) Koch. Henry served in the United States Army during World War II. After his military service he spent his working years as the owner/operator of Koch Trucking. Henry was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Wilma Pauline (Gabbard) Koch; a daughter, Susan Loraine Koch, four brothters, Louis, Bob, Anton and George Koch and a sister, Pauline Brown.

Survivors include a son, Thomas Michael Koch of Paris; three daughters, JoAnn Aparicio of Caulksville, Kathy Davis of Caulksville and Karyn Elliott of Conway; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and two sisters, Rose Marie Tolbert of Booneville and Florence Mars of Fort Smith.

Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.

The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 31, 2020, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris with Fr. Reginald Udouj, OSB officiating. We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering. Burial with military honors provided by the United States Army Honor Guard will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

Wilma Pauline (Gabbard) Koch, 81, of Paris, Arkansas died Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. She was born June 18, 1930 in Paris to her parents Roscoe and Zelma (Bates) Gabbard. She was retired from Whirlpool where she worked twenty-one years , a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Susan Loraine Koch and two sisters, Ruth Horne and Wanda Gabbard.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Henry Koch of the home; one son, Thomas Michael Koch of Van Buren, AR; three daughters, Jo Ann Aparicio of Paris, AR, Kathy Mainer of Branch, AR and Karyn Johnson of Booneville, AR; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2012 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Phillip Haralson, Zack Reynolds, Cody Rogers, Michael Koch, Sundance Pearson and Jake Pearson.
