Don Rieder, 85 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Fort Smith. He was born on November 9, 1934 in Paris to his parents Joe and Loretta (Konert) Rieder. He is retired from Arkansas Charcoal where he served as the manager for over 45 years, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris and was a United States Army Reserve veteran serving as a Private First Class until 1964. Don always enjoyed woodworking and restoring antique John Deere tractors.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Loretta (Konert) Rieder; his wife, Kaye (Wootton) Rieder; one sister, Mildred Schmaltz and two brothers, Gilbert Rieder and Andy Rieder.

He is survived by one daughter, Vickie Rieder and Jeff Watts of Danville; two sons, Alan Rieder and wife June of Paris and Mark Rieder of Paris; one sister, Dorothy Koch of Paris; his grandaughters, Kayla Curbow, Stacey Rieder and Kristin Rieder; his grandsons, Jay Rieder, Andrew Rieder, Nick Rieder and Ryan Bornmann; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated Rev. Bill VanMeter. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Rieder, Andrew Rieder, Nick Rieder and Ryan Bornmann.

Kay Rieder, 77 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 in Fort Smith. She was born on March 20, 1940 in Paris to her parents Golman and Imogene (Lee) Wootton. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Golman and Imogene (Lee) Wootton.

She is survived by her husband of fifty seven years, Don Rieder of Paris; one daughter, Vickie Rieder and Jeff Watts of Danville; two sons, Alan Rieder and wife June of Paris and Mark Rieder and Lisa McChristian of Paris; her granddaughters, Kayla Curbow, Stacey Rieder and Kristin Rieder; her grandsons, Jay Rieder, Andrew Rieder, Nick Rieder and Ryan Bornmann and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will be private at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Alan Rieder, Mark Rieder, Jeff Watts, Jay Rieder, Andrew Rieder and Nick Rieder.
