Willie Joe May, 63, of Searcy, died Friday, April 22, 2011. He was born May 29, 1947 in Quitman, Arkansas, the son of Dallas and Gladys May.
Mr. May is survived by his two daughters, Bonnie May and Stephanie Bennett, both of Searcy; two sons, Rodney May and his wife Alicia of McRae and Joseph May and his wife Brandy of Rose Bud; grandchildren Brooke, Dallas, Kassidy and her husband Matt, Madison, Zack, Bailey, Jaylin, Elizabeth, Mia, Karlie, and Ean; one great grandson, Brooks; five brothers, Buddy, Sonny, Kenneth, Danny and Jerry; five sisters, Ethel, Jean, Pat, Wanda and Trish. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby May; his parents; and three sisters, Corine, Millie and Betty.
Funeral services are Tuesday, April 26 at 10:00 am at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel of Searcy. Visitation is Monday from 6 to 8 pm.

Survivors: husband, Joe May; sons, Rodney May and wife, Alicia of McRae, Joseph May of Searcy; daughters, Stephanie Bennett and Bonnie May both of Searcy; nine grandchildren, Zackary and Bailey May of McRae, Kassidy and Madison Bennett, Brooke, Dallas, and Mia May, all of Searcy, Jaylin and Elizabeth May of West Point.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening with funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy. Interment in Weir Cemetery.
