Doyle
August 3, 1935 - June 4, 2021
Doyle Holland Osborn passed away Friday morning, June 4th, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.
Doyle was born on August 3rd, 1935 to Alfred and Ella Osborn in Lavaca, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his loving wife Alice Armstrong who he was married to since February 15th, 1956. His sisters Viola Hatch, Norma Dean Starr and his nephew Barry Coffman, also his in-laws, who Doyle loved very much, Conrad and Elizabeth Armstrong.
Doyle is survived by his children daughter Leslie Williamson, sons Chris Osborn and his wife Melanie, and John Osborn and his wife Carmen. His sister Linda Coffman and husband Robert. Grandchildren John Tyler Osborn and Jessica Mercedes Osborn, Dash, Kenna, Micah, Morgan and Nigel Williamson, Conrad, Emie and Erin Osborn plus great grandchildren, plus nephews Gary Hatch, Kevin Starr, Steven Starr and Eric Coffman and nieces Stacey Hatch, Tammy Baker and Deanna Ward. And his second family the staff and residents at Peachtree Village plus his two much loved cats, Frankie and Sunny Boy. Doyle spent almost his entire career working for airlines over a 40-year span, 20 years at Frontier/Central and 20 years at United. He also was a member of the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1956. Doyle graduated from Saint Anne's High School in 1954. He made life-long friends with his classmates during that time. He loved to fish, enjoy good food and outings with his favorite cousin Pat Taff and little sister Linda Coffman. Words cannot express the appreciation to every staff member at Peachtree Village for the care, compassion and love they provided to Doyle over his last few years, also the caring compassion of Mercy Hospice over the last few weeks.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Private Interment of ashes will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Paris, Arkansas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
