Sheelah Carmelita Lynch, 74, of Bella Vista, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. She was born on July 20, 1935 in Oakland, Calif., to John Henry Sturm and Carrie Mae Conger Sturm.
She moved to Bella Vista in 1994 from California. She was a member of Christian Life Cathedral of Bentonville.
She was a member of American Contract Bridge League, in which she had a Bronze Life Master status.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one step-daughter, Barbara Spencer.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Lynch of Bella Vista; one daughter, Renee Peacock of Katy, Texas; one stepdaughter, Robin Mendez of Tucson, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, with Pastor Terry Baker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Life Cathedral of Bentonville or to the Christian Solidarity International, West Lake Village, California.
