(Roberta) Kathleen Dockery Rice passed away August 9, 1993, at her home in Fayetteville after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Born Jan. 25, 1926, at Barstow, Calif., in 1945 she married Jack Rice, who preceded her in death in 1990. Kathleen worked many years for the Harris Co. in San Bernardino and for 13 years for Wal-Mart in Fayetteville. Survived by her beloved mother, Minnie Dockery, 93, of Fayetteville; her devoted sister, Betty Jean McElroy; four loving sons, George R., Thomas P. (Suzi) and Timothy W. of Highland, Calif., and Terrence M. of San Diego; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. We will miss your smile, your beautiful, lively piano playing and your loving heart, but know you will be at peace with the Lord in Heaven. Services Thursday, Aug. 12, 10:30 a.m. Moore's Chapel, burial at Brentwood Cemetery. Kathleen's uncles M.C. Parrish will officiate and O.D. Parrish will assist. Donations to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 40, Fay., AR 72702-0040 in lieu of flowers at her request. Visitation 2 to 9 PM Wed., Aug. 11th, Moore's Chapel. Family will greet friends between 6 and 8 PM.
