Harvey Paul Doss, age 84 of Searcy, passed from this life on Saturday, February 1, 2020 in Searcy. He was born July 6, 1935 in Sidon, Arkansas to E.R. Doss and Flora Turner Doss. He was a member of Crosby Baptist Church, retired from Matthew’s International after 35 years of service and an avid gardener. He is survived by two daughters, Judy Lively and husband Gary of Searcy, Nancy Rowland and husband Ronny of Searcy; four grandchildren, Bridget Linn and husband Michael of Judsonia, Miles Lively of Searcy, Brandy Rowland of Searcy, Tabitha Edwards and husband Will of Searcy; eight great-grandchildren, Megan McConnell of Judsonia, Jordan Linn of Judsonia, Paige Canavan of Searcy, Alyssa Lively of McRae, Aaron Stapleton of Searcy, Alex Stapleton of Searcy, Aidan Stapleton of Searcy, Kinley Lively of Heber Springs; and three great-great-grandchildren, Cadence McConnell of Judsonia, Kennedy Cochran of Judsonia, and Journey Shipley of McRae. He is preceded in death by his parents, E.R. and Flora Doss; wife of 51 years, Martha Townsend Doss; two brothers, Lloyd Doss, Owen Doss; and three sisters, Glenda Parker, Gerta Mae Townsend, and Bonnie Sisk.
Visitation will be Tuesday at Powell Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00 pm, followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Faith Assembly Cemetery.
