Charles L. Todd, Sr., 74, of Bradford, died Saturday, June 30, 2012. He was born March 13, 1938 in Little Rock a son of the late Hobart and Lena Mae Wooley Todd. He was a member of the Sunnyside Baptist Church. He is survived by his sons, David Todd of Judsonia and Charles Todd, Jr, of Conway; daughters, Rhonda Todd of Melbourne, Kayla McLaughlin of Fayetteville and Marilyn Underwood of Bigelow, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Ava Todd; brothers, D.C. and Frank Todd; sister, Trudy Wiggins. Services will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia.

When Ava Nell Holder was born on January 4, 1939, in Pulaski, Arkansas, her father, Luther, was 30, and her mother, Ruby, was 24. She married on February 1, 1957. She then married Charles Lesley Todd and they had five children together. She died on September 4, 2001, at the age of 62, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
