When Lona Willella Coursey McNeese was born in 1908 in Kentucky, her father, Joe, was 37, and her mother, Minnie, was 36. She married Isaac Luther McNeese on January 20, 1928. They had one child during their marriage. She died on October 28, 1962, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 54.
