STELLA, Mo. — Roy R. Mahon, 74, of Stella, Mo., died Aug. 31, 2011, in Stella. He was born Sept. 18, 1936, in Heber Springs to Jeff and Birl Williams Mahon.
He served in the Navy, was employed by Kraft Foods and operated a ranch in Republic, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Sue; a son, Anthony "Tony" D. Mahon and wife Sandy of Stella; a brother, Att Mahon of Bentonville; a sister, Loania Burns and husband Max of Rogers; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd.
A service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse.

Bonnie Mahon, 57, of Republic, Mo., died Friday, Jan. 13, 1995, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Mo. Born Nov. 24, 1937, in Benton County, the daughter of Corby R and Mary D. Dawson Pruitt, she was a quality control inspector for General Electric. She was a Baptist and had lived in the Republic, Mo., area since January of 1956.
Survivors are her husband, Roy Mahon of Republic; a son, Tony Mahon of Stella, Mo,; a brother, James C. Pruitt of Gravette; a sister, Fonnie Mahon of Hiwasse; and two grandsons.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery west of Hiwasse with Keith Sangwin officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Gravette.
