Syble Upton Askins was born on March 30, 1930 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Wiley and Ora Upton. She passed away on August 16, 2020 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 90. She was a homemaker and a member of the Stillwell Bible Baptist Church in Clarksville.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Upton; and her sister, Dean Bossom.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, John Kenneth Askins of the home; her sons, Mike Askins and wife, Maggy; Steve Askins and wife, Mariana; her daughter, Lisa Vandeveer and husband, Wes; her brother, Jack Upton of Iowa; her sisters, Yvonne Murphy of Clarksville, Arkansas; Ann Redding of Oklahoma; Melissa Schultz of California; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Stillwell Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas with Reverend Steve Askins officiating.
