Charles "Ronnie" Funderburg, 58, Lamar died Sunday, July 25, 2010, in his home.
He was born March 22, 1952 in Benjin.
He was a graduate of Lamar High School and the University of the Ozarks and received his master's degree from the University of Central Arkansas. He taught school in Alma and Lamar, coached baseball at Alma, Lamar and Girls' Club and was a member and deacon at Cabin Creek Baptist Church in Lamar.
Funeral was 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cabin Creek Baptist Church with burial at Harmony Cemetery in Harmony under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville.
He is survived by his wife, Rita; one daughter, Ramanda Chappell of Clarksville; one sister, Mary Bittick of Tulsa; three brothers, Jim Funderburg of Mountainburg, Gary Funderburg of Alma and Joe Funderburg of Clarksville; and two grandchildren.

Rita Jo Funderburg, 60, of Lamar, passed away March 3, 2014. She was born July 5, 1953, in the Harmony Community, to the late Selba Isaac Patterson and Oca Ernestine (Butts) Patterson. She was a member of Cabin Creek Baptist Church and a long time teacher's aide at Lamar Schools. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ronald "Ronnie" Funderburg; four brothers, Glen Patterson, Carl Patterson, Selba Patterson, Jr. and Charles Patterson; and a brother-in-law Colin Joe Funderburg.
Mrs. Funderburg is survived by one daughter, Ramanda Chappell and husband, Chris, of Clarksville; three brothers, James Patterson of Peculiar, Missouri, Raymond Patterson and wife, Debbie, of Clarksville and Clyde Patterson and wife, Karen, of Clarksville; two sisters, Verba Jones and husband, Wayne, of Hunt, Arkansas and Anna Immel and husband, Frank, of Clarksville; two sisters-in-law, Cathy Patterson-Nunn of Kansas City, Missouri and Mary Jane Bittick of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers-in-law, Jim Funderburg of Mountainburg and Gary Funderburg of Alma; two grandchildren, Victoria Chappell and Isaac Chappell; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Mrs. Funderburg's funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2014, at Cabin Creek Baptist Church, in Lamar, with Bro. Gary Blair officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home
