When Thomas Arthur "Tom" Hensley was born on January 31, 1915, his father, Robert, was 39 and his mother, Rosie, was 38. He married Edith Wilma Gasaway on November 6, 1944, in Woodruff, Arkansas. He died on April 19, 1984, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 69.
