James Oathel Jorden died at 58 years old on, Thursday December 17, 2015. Born on December 19, 1956 to Garland and Verla Jorden.

Preceded in death by one brother Eddie Jorden.

Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Dale and Gary Jorden; three sons, Justin Penner, Jared and Geoffrey Jorden; a grand-daughter.

Visitation is Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Willis Funeral Home starting at 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Services will be Wednesday December 23, 2015, at Willis Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Randy Harris officiating.

Verla Ramona Jorden, 86, passed away Monday, January 29th, 2018. She was born May 5th, 1931. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ. She enjoyed painting, and to clog at the Ozark Folk Center, and to participate in Ladies Bible Study.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmet and Irma Smith; her husband, Garland Jorden; two sons, Eddie Jorden and James Jorden; her brother, Richard Smith; and one sister, Joyce Robertson.

She is survived by two sons, Dale Jorden and his wife, Elaine, and Gary Jorden and his wife, Sandy; two sisters, Jewell Miller and Mildred Hunt; seven grandchildren, Chuck, Tonya, Tera, Jennifer, Justin, Jared, and Geoffrey; and a host of extended relatives, church family, and dear friends.

Garland Jorden, 92, of Locust Grove passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017. He was born November 27th, 1924 in Searcy, Arkansas to Frank Jorden and Viola (Walls) Jorden. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army and received a bronze star, silver star, and purple heart for his service. He was retired from General Motors and spent several years working as a plumber.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Viola Jorden; two sons Eddie Jorden and James Jorden; and five brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Verla Jorden; two sons Dale Jorden and his wife Elaine, and Gary Jorden and his wife Sandy; one brother Eugene Jorden; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, March 27th from 5-7 PM and the funeral service will be Tuesday, March 28th at 2 PM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Bill Cline officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethlehem Cemetery of Plainview.
