Lucy Mae Fogle was born in Stephens, Arkansas, on February 23, 1937, to the late Mr. Joseph Herndon and Rubye Lee (Utsey) Herndon. She departed this life on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Crowley Nursing Rehabilitation Center in Crowley, Texas. She united with the New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Louann, Arkansas until she moved to Camden Arkansas. She later united with the Greater St Paul Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. I.R. Dunn and the late Rev. George Smith where She remained a member until her death. She served on the Usher board under Mrs. Ivory Burks. On June 2, 1962, Lucy Herndon married James “Pete” Fogle. To this union four children were born; however, one child preceded Mrs. Fogle in death, her twin daughter, Annette Fogle. She is proceeded in death by her parents Joseph & Ruby Herndon, her siblings, Hannah Patterson, Erma Evans & George Herndon. Mrs. Fogle was employed with Ouachita County Medical Center, for 30+ years, with Environmental Services. Prior to working at Ouachita Medical Center, she did private work for numerous families. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters, Melva Burrise, Janette Fogle, Cassandra Fogle-Allen, all of Fort Worth, Texas Sherry Hartley of Camden, Arkansas. A son, James Fogle, Jr of Flint, Michigan; eight grandchildren and one Great-grandson, sister, Bobbie M. Pratt, of Downey, California; brothers James C. Herndon, Joseph Herndon Jr, Johnny J. Utsey all of Los Angeles, California and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members of Arkansas, California, Texas, and Washington.
