Peggy Louise Prose, 80, of London, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, Arkansas. The daughter of Lewis and Floy (Downing) Adair, she was born October 16, 1936 in Marceline, Missouri. She married the late Reverend Norman Lee Prose, and was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Russellville, where she served alongside her husband for many years. She was also a member of the Pope County Homemakers Extension. In her free time Peggy enjoyed reading. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two siblings, Jim Adair and Mary Armstrong. She was survived by two daughters, Cindy and husband Jim Troyer of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Arnetta Pritchard of London, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Eric and Leila Troyer of Adair, Oklahoma and Aubrey and Cody Sanders of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; five great-grandchildren, Abby, Maggie, Cady, and Hadlee Troyer and Annabelle Sanders; special friend, Mike Peterson, and numerous extended family. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2017 at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Russellville, with Revs. Rita Richardson and Dana Hoover, officiating. Burial was at Knoxville Cemetery in Knoxville, directed by Humphrey Funeral Service.
