Rozella "Winkie" Kenner, age 87, of Knoxville, Arkansas, died Saturday, October 5, 2013.

She was born August 1, 1926, in Knoxville to Columbus Earl and Nora Emmaline Nichols Parks.

Winkie was an active member of First Baptist Church Knoxville, a former member of the Knoxville Home Extension Club, and the Clarksville Silver Sneakers Program. She was a charter member of the Knoxville City Council.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years, William H. Kenner; and two brothers, Ernest and Glen Parks.

Survivors include her children, Connie Rommel and husband, John, of Clarksville, Coleen Kremers and husband, Tom, of Clarksville, and Bill Kenner and wife, Cheryl, of Knoxville; a sister, Beatrice "Mickey" Kenner of Knoxville; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at First Baptist Church Knoxville, officiated by the Rev. Richard Snyder, and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service. Burial will be in Knoxville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Sean Rommel, Eric Kremers, Kent Kremers, Dalton Kenner, Patrick Rice, and Carson Rommel.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Knoxville, Post Office Box 203, Knoxville, Arkansas 72845-0203.
