October 8, 1928 - April 11, 2010
Delois Russ Mitchell, 81, of Camden, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, at her home. She was born on Oct. 8, 1928, in Stephens. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mitchell; her parents, Mary and Calvin Russ; four sisters; four brothers; two infant girls; one son; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She is survived by six sons, Richard Mitchell Jr., Tommy Mitchell, Dennis Mitchell and Patrick Mitchell, all of Camden, Roger Mitchell of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Jimmy Mitchell of Little Rock; four daughters, Mary McKenzie, Joyce Malone and Lois Bonner, all of Camden, and Barbara Johnson of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sisters, Wilma Thornton of Milwaukee, Wis., Earlene Kemp of California and Thelma Rucker of Camden; one brother, Jerry Russ of Milwaukee; 33 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater St. Paul Baptist Church with Dr. George E. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Patton Cemetery.
