Daina Cagle Brents, 57, of Dexter, MO, formerly of Knoxville, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO and surrounded by her family.
The daughter of William and Wanda J. Crowson Cagle, she was born October 8, 1955 in Clarksville. She was a member of the Lamar High School class of 1973. She married Kevin Brents, on July 25, 1992 at Russellville. Daina worked as a food inspector with the USDA.
She was a member of the Harvest Assembly of God in Essex, Missouri where she taught Sunday school and was an active member of the Women's Ministry.
She enjoyed flowers, plants, camping and travel, but her world revolved around her family. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Brents.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Kevin Brents, Dexter, MO; children, Billy Drummond, Knoxville, Jonda Drummond, Flat Rock,
Andrew Ham (Sara), Clarksville, Joshua Brents, Center Ridge; grandchildren, Michael Schuster, Keelee Schuster, PFC Ashlee Cowell(US Army, Afghanistan), Kacee Gray, Cheyene Ham,
Elijah Freeman, Braxton Freeman, Korbin Ham, Caleb Brents, Evelyn Brents, and Dallas; her parents, William and Wanda Cagle, Knoxville;a brother, William Don Cagle (Rita), London.
Funeral Service will be held at 10AM, Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville. Rev. Larie C. Burdine, Greg Cagle
and Rita Calge will officiate. Burial will be at Knoxville Cemetery in Knoxville, by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
