Heyward Lucas was born October 16, 1979, to Joann Coleman and Hayward Lucas, Sr, in Buffalo, New York. He departed his life July 5, 2021at Ouachita County Medical Center. His mother moved the family to Camden, Arkansas at a very young age. He was known to others as “Gingy”.
He attended school at Camden Fairview School District. He was employed at Bounds Tire Service and loved his job. To know Heyward, you knew he was all about making his money. #Say No Mo!
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He is survived by his four children: two sons, Shaun Derric Lucas and Sha’mar Patterson both of Camden, Arkansas; two daughters, Haylie Lucas of Camden, Arkansas; and Lyniyiah Childs of Arkardelphia, Arkansas; one brother William Coleman of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Sonya Coleman of Dallas, Texas; Tonya Morris, Rachel Williams and LaKeisha McClinton of Buffalo, New York; two nephews, Brian Hall and ZaCoreyun Coleman of Dallas, Texas, two nieces Brianna Hall and Zyria Coleman of Dallas, Texas; a host of aunties, uncles ,cousins and friends.
