Dollie T. Robison, 96, of McRae was born April 17, 1915 and died August 13, 2011. She was a graduate of Beebe Junior Agriculture College and Arkansas State College. She taught at Luxora, McRae, St. Francis, Piggott, and Forrest City. Dollie was a lifelong Methodist and member of McRae United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. Her hobbies included fishing, reading, gardening and her home was known as the one with all the flower pots and decorations for every single season. D.E. and Dollie proved you could “go home again� by returning to McRae in 1994 after having been gone for many years. Dollie is survived by; daughter, Lavern Schaap and husband, Ray; grandsons, Trey Schaap and wife, Leslie and Russell Schaap; great-granddaughter, Arden Leigh Schaap; sisters, Allene Sneed, Pat Walker and husband, Max; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Tammy and Chris Robinson and family. Much gratitude to the staffs of Emeritus at Chenal Heights Assisted Living, Parkway Health Center and the 7 B unit of Baptist Health Medical Center - Little Rock. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Almous and Allie Holt; husband, Doris Ernie “D.E.� Robison; son, Eddie Boyce Robison and brother, Eulan “Kip� Holt. Memorials may be made to McRae United Methodist Church, c/o Katherine Sims, 602 Live Oak Drive, Searcy, Arkansas 72143 or The Literacy Council of White County, 109 E. Center Avenue, Searcy, Arkansas 72143 Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday August 14, 2011 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe. Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Lebanon Cemetery in McRae.
