SPRINGDALE — Robert S. Cook, age 74, of Springdale, Ark. passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 in the VA Hospital in Fayetteville. Mr. Cook was born March 7, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Harry and Helen Vantwerp Cook who preceded him in death as well his wife, Jan Cook and two brothers and a sister.
He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Theresa, Randy and Sheila and Mark; one sister, Sylvia Nemecek and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 2, at the Springdale Baptist Church on Johnson Road at 11 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home.

SPRINGDALE — Janet Mae Cook, age 72, of Springdale, Ark., died Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, in a Springdale hospital. Mrs. Cook was born July 31, 1942, in Hazleton, Iowa, to Everett and Alta Shepherd Allen, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob); three sons, Andy, Randy and Mark Cook; one brother, Jimmy Allen; one sister, June Engamells; and four grandchildren, Dakota, Rachelle, Racie and Randy.
Memorials can be made for the family at First Federal to account 9659.
Arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home.
