FAYETTEVILLE — Janette Marie Yates, 61, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 23, 1952, in Fayetteville, the daughter of Henry and Sarah Drain.

She had worked as a nurse tech for City Hospital and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Janette was preceded in death by her infant son, Bobby Johnson; her mother, Sarah Mae Kirk; and brother, Freddie Eugene Drain.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Yates of the home; her father, Henry Drain and wife, Dorothy, of Fayetteville; four sons, James Johnson and wife, Oletha, of Fayetteville, Andy Johnson and wife, Jessica, of Huntsville, Travis Johnson and wife, Tanya, of Farmington, and Gary Johnson of Fayetteville; two brothers, James Drain of West Fork and Allen Drain of Mulberry; one sister, Virginia Roberts of Fayetteville; and three stepsisters, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Beard's Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Travis Johnson and Wayne Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Woolsley Cemetery.

Visitation will be today, June 21, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
