CLARKSVILLE — Mary Sue Sears, 60, of Clarksville died Saturday, Jan. 24, at her home.
Born Feb. 5, 1943, at Clarksville, she was the daughter of the late Elijah Marion and Ruth May Ogden HATCHETT. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy, Arthur and Merle HATCHETT; and two sisters, Bessie Hylton and Ruby Pitts.
Survivors include her husband, J.W. Sears; two sons, Doug Willis and Donnie Willis of Clarksville; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tammy and Larry Teague of Batesville, Regina and Tim Marrs of Lexington, N.C., and Sonya Yates of Clarksville; 11 stepchildren; three brothers, Jim HATCHETT of Michigan, and Burl and Glen HATCHETT of Clarksville; seven grandchildren, Christopher Willis of Illinois, Derrick Marrs and Trey Mitchell of North Carolina, Lindsay Teague and Trey Teague of Batesville, and Brittany Wills and Davey Yates of Clarksville; and several stepgrandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Vernon Assembly of God Church. Burial will be by Hardwicke Funeral Service.
Pallbearers include Todd Joynor, Leonard Kimbriel, Carl Sears, Mike Parton, Robert HATCHETT and Jimmy Don English.
