November 30, 1998-Conway County, Ark. Log Cabin Democrat ----- Mrs. Hessie Wanita McCoy Ramsey, 81, of Greenbrier died Saturday (Nov. 28, 1998).
Born Feb. 21, 1917, in Scotland (Van Buren County), a daughter of Andrew Scott and Rosie Yancy McCoy, she was the widow of Clyde Henry Ramsey, a homemaker and of the Assembly of God faith.
Survivors are five sons, James Ramsey of Hattieville (Conway County), Eugene S. Ramsey of Conway, Donald Lee Ramsey of Scotland, Aubrey Ramsey of Denison, Texas, and Jerry Ramsey of Victorville, Calif.; a daughter, Wanita F. Cullop of Anacoco, La.; a sister, Bessie Price of Hesperia, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services were today at Old Liberty Cemetery with the Rev. Arlie Strong officiating. Arrangements were by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
