Vorney Lynn "Mack" McGowan, 66, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died July 9, 2015 at his home. He was born July 24, 1948 at Dallas, Texas, the son of Leonard Hensley and Velma Pearl Garrett McGowan. He was a retired heating and air conditioning technician and a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dana Kathleen Ramsey McGowan on June 20, 2013 and by one son, Stacy Lee McGowan.
Survivors include: one brother, Grady Paul Busbee of Springdale, Arkansas and special friends, Buddy and Cynthia Torix of Huntsville, Arkansas.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Sunday, July 26, at the Living Water Baptist Church in Huntsville with The Reverend Gary Faulkner officiating. Private interment will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery by Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas.

Dana Kathleen McGowan, 63, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died June 20, 2013 at her home. She was born September 12, 1949 at Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Roy L. and Rosie Pearson Ramsey. She retired from LaBarge and was preceded in death by one son, Stacy Lee McGowan, her mother, Rosie Eberle and one brother, John Samuel Ramsey.
Survivors include: her husband, Vorney Lynn "Mack" McGowan of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Traci Lynn and Mike McRae of Texas; her father, Roy L. Ramsey of Texas; one brother, Roy L. Ramsey, Jr. of Richardson, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Rick Sherrell of Garland, Texas; one nephew, Jason W. Sherrell; one niece, Jennifer Karn and husband, Davey; four grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the Huntsville Community Center at 11:00 A. M. with catered lunch at noon with the celebration to follow. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas.
