WEST FORK — Ethel Louise Prater, 83, of West Fork died July 19, 2007, at Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 1, 1924, in New Sulphur to Charles W. and Iva M. Crawley Sargent. She attended Fall Creek Free Will Baptist Church. She was retired from Levi Strauss. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and, gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Prater.

Survivors include three sons, Bill Prater, Delbert Prater and Jim Prater, all of Fayetteville; two daughters, Juanita Gibson of Strickler and Norma Stocker of West Fork; four brothers, Pete and Clinton Sargent, both of Strickler, Hank and Chester Sargent, both of Prairie Grove; two sisters, Bonnie Anderson of Jacksonville and Belle Prater of Coburg, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Fall Creek Free Will Baptist Church in Strickler with L.V. Vickery officiating. Burial will be in. Zinnamon Cemetery at Strickler.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove. The family will be present from 2 to 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zinnamon Cemetery, c/o Jerry Boyd, 17583 S. Hwy. 170, West Fork, 72774.

Pallbearers will be Mike Prater, Bryan Prater, John Stocker, Bart Stockland, Brett Stockland, Chris Mileham and Billy Joe Tester.
