Lucy Bell (Nored) Verser, 102, of Mtn. View entered into rest on July 23, 2011 at Stone County Hospital.

Lucy was born February 18, 1909 at Shiloh, Arkansas to W.R. and Vita Nored. She was a loving house wife to Walter (Doc) Verser (deceased), mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and aunt and will be missed by everyone.

She is survived by her daughters, Duene (Verser) McCarty of Mtn. View, AR; Gail (Verser) Stanley and her husband Bill of Brusly, LA; Fay (Verser) Ernst and husband Lynn of Lehigh Acres, FL; sister Hester Carr of Little Rock, AR; seven grandchildren Ed Stone and wife Val of Kokomo, IN; Kay Harrington and husband Bob of Mtn. View, AR; Rick Stone of Kokomo, IN; Cindy Guillot and husband Dale of Brusly, LA; Wayne Stanley and wife Amanda of Brusly, LA; Justin Elrod and wife Tamara of Cape Coral, FL along with 19 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband 'Doc' Verser; son Walter O. Verser, Jr.; daughter Rexalee (Verser) Stone; her parents, W.R. and Vita Nored; and a brother Dalton Nored and two sisters, Etta Lafferty and Jetta Carr and grandson, Doug McCarty.

No visitation.

Funeral service is 10 a.m., Monday, July 25, 2011 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View with Bro. Leo Murphree officiating and interment in Foster Cemetery, Scotland, AR.

Pallbearers are Dan Stevens, Rick Stone, Wayne Stanley, Justin Elrod, Bob Harrington and Randy Verser. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Dion, Josh McCarty and Aaron Guillot.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
