Dorothy Dixon Hatchett, 105, of Little Rock, passed away November 23, 2012. She was born November 1, 1907 to the late Charles Augustus and Mazie Thompson Dixon at Ravenden Springs, AR (Randolph County).
She was a graduate of Draughon's Business College in Memphis and the Little Rock Law School and was admitted to the Arkansas Bar July 8, 1935. She served as Deputy Circuit and County clerks in Randolph County and worked in the offices of Governors Futrell and Bailey and for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. She moved to Clinton, AR in 1944, where she and her husband Martin Verner Hatchett established Southern Ozarks Realty. They also owned Van Buren County Abstract.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband and her sisters and brothers-in-law Helen Dixon Bly (Harold) and Marian Dixon Sanders (Louis).
Survivors are her niece Linda Bly Turnage and husband Ed Turnage of Little Rock.
