Jessie Pickett Clingan Rhoden, 88 of Camden, AR passed away, Thursday, October 04, 2018. She was born December 12, 1929 in Chidester, AR to Thurston S. and Blanche Cubage Pickett. She was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, John C. Clingan, Sr. and William H. Rhoden, Jr.; son, Johnny C. Clingan, Jr. brother, Edgar S. "Pete" Pickett and granddaughters, Brenda Ann Clingan and Michelle Desiree Clingan.
She was survived by her daughter, Mary Lynn Clingan of Camden, AR; son, Warren Jefferson Clingan and husband, Leonard F. Burkhart of San Marcos, CA; brothers, Jerry "Tiny" Pickett and wife, Jimmie Lou of Camden, AR and Howell J. "Punch" Pickett and wife, Patricia of Hot Springs Village, AR; sister, Linda Purifoy and husband, Roger of Camden, AR; grandchildren, Dr. Warren Jefferson Clingan, III and wife, Jennie of Birmingham, AL, Kelly Grider and husband, Chris of Camden, AR and Danielle Otis and husband, Will of Conway, AR; and great grandchildren, Camielle Clingan, Jude Clingan and Clementine Clingan all of Birmingham, AL, Todd Grider of Camden, AR and Everett Otis, Emmarie Otis and Ellie Otis all of Conway, AR.
A memorial service will be 3:00PM Sunday, October 07, 2018 at Proctor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-3 Sunday before the service. Reverend Terri Lynn Bunnell will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
