Isaac B. Mobley Isaac B. Mobley, 94, of Fort Smith died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at his home. He was a native of Johnson County, son of the late William and Lillie Mobley, retired carpenter, member of West-Ark Church of Christ and former elder of Midland Boulevard Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Virginia Mobley; one daughter, June Stephens and husband, Jerry, of Keller, Texas; two sons, Dale Mobley and wife, Judy, of Siloam Springs and Don Mobley and wife, Claudia, of Springdale; one sister, Ada Goines of Tennessee; five grandchildren, Brian Mobley, Stan Stephens, Greg Mobley, Kevin Mobley, and Clair Lee; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with graveside services and burial at the Minnow Creek Cemetery with Roy Dunavin officiating. Pallbearers were Bill Moss, Jay Wood, Ben Pearson, Eddie Harrell, Charley Douglas and Joe Marchant. Memorials may be made to West-Ark Church of Christ, 900 North Waldron, Fort Smith, AR 72903.

Ruth Virginia Mobley, 99, Daughter of Benjamin and Francis Gertrude Chronister Born September 20, 1917 in Johnson County, Arkansas.
Grew up on Minnow Creek at the Henry Chronister Country Store. Attended school at Slate Hill and Lamar, AR.
Passed away on February 19, 2017.
Her siblings are Brother Ralph Chronister and Sister Ella Mae Jones. Ruth married the late Isaac Mobley August 4, 1934 they had three children; June Stephens living in Texas, Dale Mobley living in Oklahoma and Don Mobley living in Texas, five grandchildren; Brian Mobley living in North Carolina, Kevin Mobley living in North Carolina, Stan Stephens living in Texas, Clair Lee living in Texas and Greg Mobley living in Arkansas, Twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Ruth moved to Fort Smith, AR in 1950, attended Midland Boulevard Church of Christ and Windsor Park Church of Christ. Ruth worked at Wortz Biscuit Company for 17 years. Ruth moved to Keller, TX in 2011.
Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Minnow Creek Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas
