R.L. England was born August 20, 1921, to his parents in Hagarville, Arkansas, and passed away January 26, 2015, in Clarksville, Arkansas, at the age of 93. He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II, a brick mason, and of the Church of Christ faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Henry England and Ada Leudiann Pearson England.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Bynum England of Clarksville; his son, Larry England and wife, Carol, of Russellville, Arkansas; two daughters, Janice Meeker and husband, Autry, of Clarksville, and Kim Patterson and husband, Craig, of Clarksville; five grandchildren: Larry England Jr. and wife, Christina, of Russellville, Scott England and wife, Mitzi, of Russellville, Autry Meeker Jr. of Searcy, Matt Meeker and wife, Callie, of Clarksville, Arkansas, and Lindsay Patterson of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Paul Farrar officiating. Burial will follow in Minnow Creek Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Anna Marie Bynum England of Clarksville, Arkansas, was born September 10, 1919, in Clarksville, and passed away February 9, 2016, in Lamar, Arkansas, at the age of 96. She was a homemaker and a member of Clarksville Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband, R.L. England; her parents, James Isaac and Annie Bell Ray Bynum; four brothers, William, Audra, Robert, and Ralph Bynum; and three sisters: Visia Bynum Dalton, Bertha Bynum Askins, and Leola Bynum Hilton.

She is survived by a son, Larry England and wife, Carol, of Russellville, Arkansas; two daughters, Janice England Meeker and husband, Autry, of Clarksville, and Kim England Patterson and husband, Craig, of Clarksville; five grandchildren: Larry England Jr. and wife, Christina, of Russellville, Scott England and wife, Mitzi, of Russellville, Autry Meeker Jr. of Searcy, Matt Meeker and wife, Callie, of Clarksville, Arkansas, and Lindsay Patterson of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Autry Meeker, Craig Patterson, Larry England, Jr., Scott England, Autry Meeker, Jr., and Matt Meeker.
