ZAVALLA, Texas — Mary Alice Copeland Findlay, formerly of West Fork, Ark., passed away May 4, 2017, in Zavalla, Texas. She was 91 years of age. Mary was born in the Zinnamon Community on October 23, 1925, to Joe Hazy Copeland Sr., and Lizzie Moore Ford Copeland.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on Oct. 23, 1947. She remained faithful to her dedication to her death.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Harry Teague, Joe McSharry, and Norman Findlay, brothers, Foster and Bruce Copeland, sisters, Ouida Sloas, Ruth Derry and Leota Copeland. She is survived by brothers, Joe Jr., and Jack Copeland, sister, Neva Joy Biggs, and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and spiritual brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be planned at the West Fork, Ark., Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at a date yet to be determined.
