When Duffie Bradford was born on March 10, 1897, in Alabama, her father, Wesley, was 37, and her mother, Angelina, was 33. She had two sons and two daughters from one relationship. She then married Roy Bradford on April 1, 1929. She died on February 26, 1974, in Garner, Arkansas, at the age of 76, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
