Iva Rowlett Irons, 85, of Star City, died Friday January 4, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
She was born March 15, 1927 in Cedar Creek (Scott County) to the late Joseph "Joe" and Mary Amos Rowlett.
She was a loving mother, retired cook, homemaker, and a Baptist.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers; Milvin Rowlett, and Danny Rowlett, four sisters; Dotha Scott, Sophia Floyd, Josie McIntyre, and Nola Taylor, five daughters; Dorothy Gilley, Marie Rice, Joyce Weast, Peggy Sue Irons, and Anice Irons, two sons; J.E. and J.D. Irons, one grandson; Gary Weast, and three great grandsons; Sayler Todd Weast, Keith Trantham, and Bradyn Durkee.
Survivors Include one son; Edward William Irons (Tammy) of Star City, five daughters; Doris Hendrickson of Grapevine, Kathy Weast (Jerry) of Star City, Brenda Harrison (the late Jimmy) of Star City, Janice Harrison of Star City, and Lisa Williams (Kenny) of Coleman, nineteen grandchildren, and thirty-two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2PM Monday January 7, 2013 at the Griffin Funeral Chapel. Bro. Don Borland officiating.
Pallbearers are Starsky Weast, Hutch Weast, Scotty Rice, Kalem Williams, Trevor Williams, Dennis Robertson Jr., Timmy Sherrill, Jody Williams, Byron Abernathy, and Tyler Harrison.
Visitation is noon Monday until Funeral time. Burial at Holly Springs Cemetery.
Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service of Star City.
