Magdalene Bridges ''Maggie'' Dobbs, 96 of Clarksville, AR., passed away Friday October 19, 2018 in Brazoria, Texas. Maggie was born October 4, 1922 in Johnson County, Arkansas to John and Savannah (Bridged) Bridges. Magdalene was a member of first Assembly of God Church, she was a correspondent with the Graphic for many years and retired from Roller Cox Funeral Home. Maggie loved her family and friends and enjoyed their visits. Maggie was a great friend to many and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband M.J. Dobbs, Brothers Noah Thomas Smith, Erna Bridges, Oren Bridges, Olen Bridges; Sisters Nettie Jacobs, Lennie Randall, and Lucy Jacobs.
Maggie is survived by her Daughter: Mona Crumrine (Dupree) Allen of Brazoria, TX; one son: J Stanley Dobbs and Cheryl Browns of Fresno, CA; Grandchildren: Bridges Lee (Shari) Crumrine of Lamar, AR, J Vincent (Deidra) Crumrine of Lake Jackson, TX; Great-Grandchildren Brandi (Tray) Hargraves of Clarksville,AR, Gerron Crumrine of Lamar, AR, Colby (Kimberly )Crumrine of Waco, TX, Austin (Rachael )Crumrine of OH, Keaton Crumrine of Huntsville, TX, Ashley Lynn Russell of Brazoria, TX "Adopted" Granddaughter who cared for Gran for many years; Great-Great-Granddaughter Danica Lynn Crumrine Schedule to arrive in January of 2019. Numerous step brothers/sisters, Neices, Nephews, cousins; and a host of good friends; and her church family who loved her dearly.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 P.M., Thursday October 25, 2018 at First Assembly of God Church with Bro. Dade Kindrix and Bro. Amos Pledger officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. With Bridges Crumrine, J Crumrine, Gerron Crumrine, Brandi Hargraves, Colby Crumrine, and Tray Hargraves serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Keaton Crumrine, Austin Crumrine, James Allen Bridges, and David Newton
Visitation will be at 2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home
