Raymond Filmore Hudson, 88, of Russellville died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.

He was born in Clarksville, son of the late Elmer L. and Laura Harvey Hudson, graduate of Clarksville High School, Navy veteran of World War II, member of First Baptist Church of Russellville, former member of C.C. Camp at Shiloh, and was preceded in death by one son, Alan Greg Hudson; and one daughter, Janice Raye Broyles.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Naomi Cunningham Hudson; two sisters, Mildred Blackburn of Russellville and Ilene Jones of Odessa, Texas; one brother, E. E. Hudson of Russellville; one grandchild, Justin Hudson and wife, Katia, of Russellville; two great-grandchildren, Nadara and Alysta Hudson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephen Davis and Rev. Tom Walker officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Doug Harvey, Sterling Penix, Wendell Self, Steve Self, Lindy Paul Harvey, and Jim Harvey.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Golden Voyagers Sunday school class.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Filmore Hudson; parents, William L. Cunningham and Susie Walker Bell.
