Fernando "Bokey" Ford was born August 06, 1966 to Ellis Ford and Dorothy Ford. He departed this life Sunday, September 01, 2019. He united in holy matrimony to Veronica Thompson in 1990. To this union one child was born. He joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at an early age. He was a devoted worker at Proctor Funeral Homefor 19 plus years. He was devoted son, father, brother and friend. He was loved and cherished by all who knew him. His most distinguished quality was his famous laugh.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ellis Ford and brothers, Fred Bass, Thomas Ford, Alvin Wallace, Alvester Ford; and his sisters, Murdis Davis and Linda Green.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Sylvia Ford; a grandson, Elijah Ford; mother, Dorothy Ford; a very special friend, Shawnta Ross; two devoted stepchildren, Jacenthia Harris and George Morehead; brother, Richard Bass of Camden, AR; sisters, Mable Bass of Camden, AR, Clara Ford Brown (Calvin) of Camden, AR, Lynn Bass of Las Vegas, NV, Ruby Sapp (Eugene) Toni Marie Lambert and Jeanette Williams of Hot Springs, AR, and Ellis Faye Bass of Las Vegas, NV; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday, September 07, 2019 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
