Leroy Ford was born July 27, 1940, to the late Tinie and Rosetta Ford in Camden, Arkansas. He attended Union Grove School System in Amy, Arkansas.

He accepted Christ at a very young age and united with the Shady Grove Baptist Church.

He married Mary Willingham in 1961, and to this union 4 children was born. Later in 1986, he married Eva Frazier which preceded him in death.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was proceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Ford and Charles Ford, two sisters, Norma Beasley and Sherry Ford Washington, one grandson, Dorsey Watson.

He worked for Rogers Lumber Company for many years and later worked for the Arkansas Highway Department for 15 years until he retired in 2005.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son. Rickey Ford, four daughters, Catherine Parr (Wendell), Donna Watson (Joseph), Shelia Ford and Dianisha Ford two step-sons, Ricky Frazier and James Ainsworth, four brothers, Freddie Ford (Charlesetta) , Tinie Ford (Norma), Dorsey Ford and Alvin Ford, one sister, Yvonne Williams, two brother-in-laws, Soloman Beasley and Larry Davis (Delois), a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
