SAND SPRINGS, Okla. — Thurman Edward "Buck" Brannon, 74, of Sand Springs died July 19, 2000, at Hillcrest Medical Center. He was born Sept. 29, 1925, in Health (Madison County) to Frank and Lela Parker Brannon. He was a retired machinist and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Kary Smith Brannon of the home; three sons, Eddie Brannon and Jimmy Brannon, both of Sand Springs, and Paul Brannon of Buena Park, Calif.; one daughter, Rhonda Frederick of Montclair, Calif.; one sister, Gene Sorensen of Springdale; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial will be in Brentwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Moore's.

Kary D. Brannon, 86, aerospace factory space supervisor and resident of Sand Springs, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 in Jenks, Oklahoma. She was born February 11, 1932 to Carl Smith and Vera (Goff) Smith in Winslow, Arkansas.
Graveside service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Brentwood Cemetery in Brentwood, Arkansas. Reverend Vance Eubanks officiating.
