BENTONVTLLE — Patsy Ann Payne, 66, lifelong resident of Bentonville, Ark., passed away, Monday, Sept. 16, 2019, at Circle of Life in Bentonville after a courageous battle with pulmonary hypertension. She was born Dec. 19, 1952, in Bentonville to Bobby Joe and Jennie (Moore) Wilson.
She was a 1971 graduate of Bentonville High School and attended the University of Arkansas. She worked at Springdale and Fayetteville Walmart stores and in the Information Technology department at the home office, where she met her husband, Keith.
Patsy organized and threw the best parties, including her own wedding. She loved gardening and was excited to have been accepted into the Master Gardener's program.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Mary Jane Wilson.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Keith Payne; son Nick Payne of Rogers; brothers Robby Wilson and wife Sherry and Stanley Wilson, all of Bentonville; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, at Miller Cemetery in Bentonville with Randy Featherston officiating.
Memorials may be made in memory of Patsy Payne to The Nature Conservancy, Attn: Treasury, 4245 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 100, Arlington, Va., 22203, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
