David Franklin Wright, 82, of Jacksonville passed from this life on March 27, 2018. He was born June 12, 1935 in LaFollette, Tennessee to the late Isaac Wright and Mable Litton Wright. Mr. Wright proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for over twenty years. Upon his retirement he joined the Civil Service from which he also eventually retired. David was known for his kindness and love for people. He was always ready to extend a helping hand to anyone who needed him. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Ester Marie Bose Wright and several siblings.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews and a host of family and very special friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday March 30, 2018 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Maness officiating. Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the funeral home.

Esther Marie Wright age 82, of Jacksonville went to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, February 5, 2015. She was born December 25, 1932 in Ellis, Kansas to the late Joseph and Mary Boos. She was a loving wife and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years David Wright, one sister Sylvia Price of West Covina, California and numerous friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home & Crematory (501) 982-2136.
