Bobby Joe Fowler, 81, of Hartman, died June 9, 2010, at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville.
Born Oct. 15, 1928, in Clarksville, he was the son of the late Joe and Polly Winters Fowler.
He was preceded in death by his son, Neal Fowler.
Bobby was a member of Hartman Methodist Church, an Air Force veteran of WWII, as well a member of Coal Hill Masonic Lodge number 383, the Clarksville DAV, Coal Hill VFW and local number 10 of Asbestos Workers.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, a daughter and her husband of Hartman; a sister of Hartman; and 3 grandchildren of Hartman.
A private funeral service will be 10 a.m. today at West Mount Zion Cemetery in Hartman with the Rev. Regina Turner officiating.
Burial will follow by Hardwicke Funeral Home.

Fanny Jean Fowler, 85, of Hartman, Arkansas died Monday, November 25, 2019 in Clarksville. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. She was born January 29, 1934 in Hartman, Arkansas to Joseph and Virginia Reeves Stallings. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Fowler; and a son, Neal Fowler.
Fanny is survived by a daughter, Connie McGill of Altus; a sister, Joan Stiles of Hartman; three grandchildren, Jared Humphrey, Michelle Fowler, and Joseph Fowler; and three great grandchildren, Ellie Hatchett-Fowler, Landon Dodge, and Neil Fowler.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, November 29, 2019 at Mt. Zion Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home in Ozark.
