Archie Wayne Yandell, 89, of Clarksville, AR stepped into his heavenly home on August 20, 2020 at Baptist Health in Ft. Smith. Archie was born on October 27, 1930 in Clarksville, Arkansas (Harmony Community) to Hugh Michael and Anna Laura Mickle Yandell.
Archie was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarksville, AR (Friendship Sunday School Class). Archie served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He was a retired carpenter but also spent many years as a truck driver delivering specifically for Avon. Archie enjoyed fishing, gardening, singing, and playing cards with family and friends. He was also an avid Razorback fan and loved to call the Hogs
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Carol Trew Yandell, four brothers and two sisters-in-law’s [Jack, Carl (Katie), Kenneth (Lucille), and Argus], and two sisters and brothers-in-law [Erma Lee Pitts (Sherman) and Jeffie Ashlock (Paul)].
Archie is survived by four daughters and son in law’s, Cindy Rehanek (Jim) of Jenks, OK; Colleen Rodonski (Ken) of Clarksville, AR; Connie Douglas (Jerry) of South Pueblo, CO; and Coral Gould (Sam) of Clarksville, AR; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one brother, Thomas Yandell of Rockford, Illinois, and three sisters-in-law, Nell, Rita, and Neva.
The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at East Mt. Zion Trinity Baptist Church, Clarksville, AR with Brother Robbie Jackson officiating.

Carol Evangeline Yandell, 71, joined the Church Triumphant on February 28, 2010.
A life-long Methodist, Carol faithfully served Clarksville United Methodist for many years and in varioius capacities; however, she was especially passionate about her role as the Children's Choir Director and her many roles within the children's ministry. Carol was a retired teacher. She began her teaching career in Connecticut as a public school teacher and then as a guidance counselor. After moving to Clarksville, she became a program coordinator for what is now the Jones Learning Center. From 1980-2003, Dr. Yandell served as an associate professor of child development at the University of the Ozarks. The community projects dear to Carol's heart were the Mustard Seed and Helping Hands where she served as director for 15 years.
Carol was preceded in death by her father and mother, James and Alberta Trew, her sister, Connie Posey, and her brother, and her brother, Royal James Trew.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Archie Yandell; four daughters, Cindy Rehanek and husband Jim of Jenks, Oklahoma, Colleen Rodonski and husband Kenneth of Clarksville, Arkansas, Connie Douglas and husband Jerry of Wichita, Kansas, and Coral Gould and husband Sam of Clarksville, eleven grandchildren, Nikki Boggs of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Matthew Rodonski of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Michelle Irwin of Newport News, Virginia, Ashley, Kevin, Melissa, and Shannon Douglas of Wichita, Kansas, Joshua Rehanek of Jenk, Oklahoma, and Alex, Katie, and Connie Gould of Clarksville, Arkansas, two great grandchildren, Taison Silas and Aaron Rodonski, a sister, Marilyn McGrath, and a brother, Robert Trew.
A memorial service was held at the First United Methodist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas. Crematory burial was at Bethlehem Cemetery at a later date.
